US pellet exports jump 14.8% in first five months 2019

WASHINGTON (From news reports) -- Between January and May, U.S. pellet exports jumped 14.8% y-o-y to 2.5 million m3 with export value expanded 17.4 % to $349.4 million, according to USDA data. Pellet exports to UK surged 15.5% to 1.9 million, export value contracted 15.5% to $278.6 million.

Pellet exports to Denmark from U.S. declined 15.7% to 198.7 thousand m3 with export value decreased 13.1% to $31.2 million. Belgium gained 10.6% to 197.3 thousand m3, export value soared 36.3% to $21.1 million.
