To grow the Packaging Automation business in the packaging sector, Stora Enso has partnered with Radpak, a Polish packaging machinery manufacturer focusing on packaging automation for primary and secondary packaging.
Packaging Automation is expanding their business outside of Gothenburg, Sweden where Stora Enso has its current factory. Radpak's factory is located in Włocławek, Poland, which strengthens Packaging Automation's growth strategy in Central and Northern Europe and gives a local presence with service and aftermarket. The partnership will grow the portfolios of the two companies which means Stora Enso can offer both primary and secondary packaging, one point of contact for the customer.
The offering includes a wide range of packaging machines, corrugated packaging, project management, service and after sales. Packaging Automation is part of BU Central & Northern Europe and is now expanding outside the Nordics.
Stora Enso Packaging Automation provides automation solutions to optimize the customers' packaging line, from a single automation solution to a fully integrated packaging line. Packaging Automation has delivered more than 1,000 packaging machines in the Nordics and has over 30 years of experience in modern automation solutions
Stora Enso is a leading provider of renewable products in packaging, biomaterials and wooden construction, and one of the largest private forest owners in the world.
