Andritz has successfully started up a new high-capacity chemi-thermomechanical pulping system supplied to Wuzhou Special Paper (Jiangxi) Co. Ltd. in Hukou County, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, China.

Klabin has officially recognized ANDRITZ for its technical expertise and project management performance during the Puma II pulp and paper mill expansion project in Ortigueira, Brazil.

Shandong Huatai Paper and Voith Paper successfully started up PM 11 in the eastern Chinese province of Shandong.

Argentinian leading packaging paper and tissue producer UnionPel selected Toscotec to supply a technological upgrade of PM1 at their Pacheco mill in the province of Buenos Aires. The project is scheduled for the first half of 2024.

Taiwanese tissue producer Yuen Foong Yu Consumer Products Co., Ltd. has successfully started up a new Andritz PrimeLineCOMPACT tissue production line at its mill in Chingshui.

The order also includes a biomass boiler.

The delivery of the machine is scheduled for August 2024.

Hengan has now 15 Andritz tissue machines in operation.

Delivery will take place this year, which means that commissioning of the machine is planned for January 2024.

Kadant Inc. has completed the acquisition of KWS Manufacturing Company, Ltd. ("KWS") for approximately $84 million in cash, subject to certain customary adjustments.

RunEco vacuum system with EP500-D2 Turbo Blower, EcoDrop water separator and EcoFlow dewatering measurement with seven measurement points has started up at Smurfit Kappa Bento PM1 in Brazil.

The delivery includes a RunEco EP600 Turbo Blower with ABB motor and drive, transformer, new EcoSep pre-separators, EcoFlow dewatering measurements and detailed engineering.

Toscotec will supply an entire dryer section rebuild to Hamburger Turkey, part of the Hamburger Containerboard Group, at their paper mill in Çorlu in Northern Turkey. The project focuses on their containerboard machine (PM3) and is planned for the end of 2024.

Valmet has entered into an agreement to acquire Demuth, a Brazilian company specializing in wood handling solutions for the pulp industry. This acquisition will strengthen Valmet's wood handling technology offering and services presence in South America.
