Stockholm, Sweden 18 July 2016 -- Yesterday Södra started up its pulp mill Värö which had been shut down for 10 weeks due to modernisation measures.

So far the re-commissioning process is going according to plan, but is of course in a very early stage, according to a company spokesman.

Production downtime took twice as long as originally planned. The final rebuilding measures were started on 7 May and were scheduled to be finalised by mid-June.
