Print

Hong Kong, China, 08 June 2011 -- (ACN Newswire) -- Double A Holdings Limited has signed an investment cooperation agreement with Dafeng Port Administrative Committee to establish an integrated pulp and paper mill project in Dafeng Port Economic Zone.

"This new venture in China will have an annual capacity of 500,000 tons of paper and 420,000 tons of pulp, with the possibility of expanding to 1 million tons of paper and 840,000 tons of pulp," said Thirawit Leetavorn, CEO of Double A Holdings Limited. "This project will only use sustainable fiber source from Double A's paper from KHAN-NA. Paper from KHAN-NA comes from 1.5 million farmers who grow trees along their empty rice paddy ridge. This sustainable fiber source will help regenerate natural forests and limit impact on the environment."

The project will drive the company's development in northern Jiangsu, China, by providing Double A premium quality copy paper in the province and with potential to export to other markets, including Korea, Australia, South Asia, Europe, and Africa.
