In this issue of Disconnected Comparisons, we evaluate Nashua Corporation (NSHA) and Sonoco Products Company (SON).

The attached graph indexes these companies’ stock values and the PM40 to their 04 January 2002 values. A USD 100 investment in NSHA on that date would have been worth USD 131.18 on 22 Aug 2008; a USD 100 investment in SON on 04 January 2002 would have been worth USD 122.95 on 22 Aug 2008; and a USD 100 investment in an equal weight of the PM40 on 04 January 2002 would have been worth USD 128.32 on 22 Aug 2008.
