BOISE, Idaho -- Boise Cascade Company announced the promotion of Chris Forrey to Vice President, Finance and Investor Relations.

Chris joined Boise Cascade in 2005 and was promoted to his most recent role of Senior Finance Director in March 2022, where he has led the tax, financial reporting, accounts payable, and financial systems teams. He has also been a key contributor to the investor relations and M&A efforts for the Company.

Chris earned a master's degree in accountancy/taxation and a bachelor's degree in business administration in accountancy, both from Boise State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant. Chris is also actively involved in organizations that support the local community.

"Chris has a strong business intellect and curiosity that I believe will serve the Company well in his new role," said Kelly Hibbs, SVP, CFO and Treasurer. "With this well-deserved promotion, he will take leadership of our investor relations activities. In addition, Chris will maintain oversight of his previous accountabilities, where we are fortunate to have well-established and high-performing teams in place."
