Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, 21 December 2006 -- Ainsworth Lumber Co. Ltd. announced that it plans to take extended holiday closures at three oriented strand board (OSB) facilities to adjust production to meet orders.
The Bemidji, Minnesota, plant will be down from 24 December 2006 through 01 January 2007, the Grande Prairie, Alberta, plant will be down 24 December 2006 through 07 January 2007, and the High Level, Alberta, plant will be down 25 December 2006 through 02 January 2007.
