Greenpeace or Greennasty?

Greenpeace is screaming because the parent company of APP in Indonesia is trying to buy another mill in Nova Scotia from bankrupt NewPage. Greenpeace recently cajoled toy companies Mattel and Hasbro into not buying packaging from APP. However, if you look at the report from the independent laboratory that tested APP's paper under contract with Greenpeace, you'll find that that lab says they never offered to Greenpeace the conclusions Greenpeace has drawn from their work.

In the 1970s, I stopped subscribing to the "Smithsonian" magazine because I thought they were showing a biased, not balanced, view of Greenpeace's activist intervention. Thirty-five years of reading about Greenpeace has not changed my opinion of them: they are environmental thugs not interested in scientific fact.
