The coming bursting of the corn ethanol bubble is going to be important to the pulp and paper industry. When the realities of the corn ethanol economics manifest themselves, it is very likely that energy interests will turn to us to fill the requirements of harvesting recently acquired solar energy in the form of tree residuals. This has already started on a small scale, and promises to turn the dynamics of our industry upside down. Some very exciting times are immediately ahead.
