Pöyry Assigned for Billerud's Paper Machine Rebuilds in Sweden

Vantaa, Finland, 31 January 2007 -- Pöyry's Forest Industry business group has been assigned to provide engineering services for Billerud AB's two paper machine rebuild projects in Sweden. The value of the assignments is not disclosed.

Pöyry's assignments include project management and complete engineering services for the rebuilds of PM2 at Gruvön and PM7 at Skärblacka. The rebuilds are designed to improve the machines' performance and product quality. The rebuilt paper machines are scheduled to be started up in summer 2008.

The assignments are a continuation to the long-lasting cooperation with Billerud and further strengthen Pöyry's position as the leading engineering service provider for the Swedish pulp and paper industry.
