Millwood Relocates to Nashville Area Facility

Nashville, Tennessee, USA, 15 December 2008 – Millwood, Inc., a supplier of unit load and packaging products and services, completed the recent relocation of their Nashville (La Vergne), Tennessee facility to a new, larger facility within three miles of their former location in Girard, Ohio, on 01 November 2008 .

Millwood, Inc. operates sawmills and 22 engineering and manufacturing facility throughout the United States. These facilities provide new, reconditioned, and recycled pallets; material handling equipment; packaging systems; and support services to customers in a broad line of manufacturing, distribution and end-user industries.

The new facility will continue its focus on wood pallets and third party logistics (3PL) warehousing operations, and has permitted Millwood to expand an already wide range of products services that have earned the company a “one-stop connection” reputation for pallet management, packaging, and logistics solutions.

According to Ron Ringness, Millwood executive vice president, Sales, Marketing & Technology, “The recent move to the more expansive facility will permit the company to focus on our customers who now require smaller, more flexible warehouse space and 3PL operations. The new building provides expanded opportunities to custom tailor all of our operations to individual customer needs.”
