Interfor's Adams Lake Sawmill Operations Curtailed

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, 05 November 2007 - International Forest Products Limited (Interfor) (TSX: IFP.A) announced today that the company’s Adams Lake sawmill in the interior of British Columbia will be curtailed for market reasons, effective 12 November 2007, for an indefinite period. The curtailment will be reassessed on a week-to-week basis.

Interfor is one of the Pacific Northwest’s largest producers of quality wood products. The company has operations in British Columbia in Canada and in Washington and Oregon in the United States, including three sawmills in the coastal region of British Columbia, one in the interior of British Columbia, one in Washington, and two in Oregon. In addition, Interfor operates value-added remanufacturing and specialty products facilities in British Columbia and Washington.
