Cascades' Norampac Completes Sale of Red Rock Linerboard Mill

Kingsey Falls, Quebec, Canada, 31 October 2007 -- /PRNewswire/ -- Cascades Inc. (CAS-TSX) announces today that its Containerboard Group, Norampac, has completed the sale of its Red Rock linerboard mill, located in North West Ontario.

About Norampac

Norampac owns seven containerboard mills and 27 corrugated products plants in the United States, Canada, and France. With an annual production capacity of more than 1.25 million short tons, Norampac is the largest containerboard producer in Canada and the seventh largest in North America. Norampac, a division of Cascades Canada Inc., is also a major Canadian manufacturer of corrugated products.
