ANDRITZ Successfully Starts Up Tissue Machine in China

Graz, Austria 23 August 2016 -- International technology Group ANDRITZ has successfully completed start-up of the PrimeLineCOMPACT II tissue machine with steel Yankee supplied to Guangdong Shaoneng Group for the Shao Guan mill, Guangdong province, China.

The machine processes bamboo pulp and has a design speed of 1,600 m/min and a width of 2.85 m. The Yankee, manufactured entirely of steel, has a diameter of 3.65 m. The order also included supply of the complete stock preparation plant, automation, and drives.

With this turnkey delivery, ANDRITZ PULP & PAPER is again confirming its position as one of the leading suppliers of tissue machines with local services in China.
