Montreal, Quebec, Canada, 05 February 2008 -- (Canada NewsWire) -- AbitibiBowater Inc. will release fourth quarter and 2007 results before the stock markets open (approximately 7:30 a.m. Eastern Time) on 20 February 2008.

Management will host a conference call and question-and-answer session to discuss earnings that day at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time. Participants will include John W. Weaver, executive chairman; David J. Paterson, president and chief executive officer; and William G. Harvey, senior vice president and chief financial officer.
